This deluxe storm door hardware set includes a lever handle and an interior latch with a long-lasting finish. It will provide an added touch of class to any out-swinging storm or screen door. The easy-to-operate handle replaces the basic push-button handle that may already be on your screen door. This storm door handle set is compatible with most pre-installed surface mount handles and complements a wide range of décor styles. The interior latch features an easy opening push movement and has a thumb style lock which allows the storm door to be locked from the inside. This is not a high security lock, but a secondary level of security that provides additional security. There is no key lock for the outside. When replacing an existing handle, the screw posts for the handle must be 1-3/4" apart. The backset must be at least 1-5/32". For new installations, three holes are required to be drilled through the door for the screws and spindle. Drilling template is included in the instructions.
